Replacement of the Chartwell sign on the corner of Crosscreek Road and Tyrol Road, that was vandalized in 2006 Consultation with and representation of residents’ concerns to city planners which resulted in successfully thwarting the traffic calming islands proposed for Stevens Drive. Consultaion with city planners regarding the rebuilding of Taylor Way and the new traffic circle to ensure affected residents’ concerns were addressed. Careful consideration of the Official Community Plan, in which we met with stakeholder groups Removal of abandoned vehicles and ‘abandoned’ tree and hedge trimmings dumped on public property. Established and maintain a community website Support Block Watch to enhance neighbourhood security Connect neighbours with community services, events and associations Attend West Vancouver Council meetings to ensure your concerns regarding our community are addressed Fund scholarships for outstanding leadership and achievement for students of our community schools, Westcott, Chartwell, Sentinel, Collingwood and Mulgrave Recognize outstanding neighbours with our Community Service and Good Neighbour awards, presented annually at our Annual General Meeting Host special community events such as our Annual General Meeting, All Candidates meetings, and Clean Sweep.
